McNair's Toxicology Results Revealed, Akon's Newest Baby Mama, ATL Housewives Gets Ready to Return to TV, & MJ's Doctor's Office Raided

Authorities say Mississippi native and former NFL star Steve McNair had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit at the time of his death. The Tennessee Assistant Medical Examiner says the toxicology report also showed a trace amount of marijuana in the body of Sahel Kazemi. The 20-year-old woman shot McNair July 4th in a Nashville condo before shooting herself (crazy)! Police said McNair was likely asleep when he was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest. That is just awful. I feel bad for the kids. Life is a blessing people! Its already a sin but its one thing if you want to kill yourself, but please don't take anyone with you.

Police have also arrested the man who sold Sahel Kazemi the gun she used to kill herself and the former NFL quarterback and Alcorn State University standout star. Sahel met the man, Adrian Gilliam Jr. when she was trying to sell her car. She told him she needed a gun and he sold her a loaded 9mm for $100. Adrian, who has admitted to selling Sahel the weapon, was convicted of murder and attempted armed robbery in 1993 in Florida. And the story just gets worst.

Akon’s Newest Baby Mama Speaks Out

The very married singer Akon has a six-month-old baby on the side in California and the kid's mother says Akon is not stepping up to the financial plate. Sarah Coleman said she had been unable to serve Akon with child support request papers, even after sending process servers to Michael Jackson's funeral to catch him. Akon, on the other hand, says paternity was only established a month ago and that baby girl needs to fall back and give him a chance to get set up payments, blaming the hold-up on the fact that they live in different states and his busy touring schedule. Akon did reportedly say, however, that he loves his kids. The more he has, the better. I think he has 5 or so. Word is old girl sold her story to a tabloid so that's why she said he wasn't handling his business. I know he's married but I could have sworn they said he had more than one wife too.

The Drama Begins on Bravo

Speaking of kids, the newest ATL "Housewife” Kandi Burruss, formerly a member of the group Xscape recently sat down in an interview and spoke about the upcoming reality show. She was asked about her alleged deadbeat daddy fiance Ashley Jewell. Now you remember recently, rumor had it that he had 6 kids and was well known around Atlanta for not handling his business. Kandi confirmed that it’s true. He does have 6children and that is a big problem for her mother. She did reveal that she didn’t know going into the relationship exactly how many kids he had but her mother fought hard during the taping of the show and even after. I guess we will see what all she's talking about when The Real Housewives of Atlanta hits the air again. She did inform us that two of his kids even live with them.

Michael Jackson's Doctor's Office Raided by Feds

TMZ reported today that the Houston office of Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s physician, was raided by federal agents...and they were specifically looking for all medical records relating to Michael Jackson. Sources say 8 Drug Enforcement Agency vehicles arrived at his offices today with a ton of other law enforcement officials. The law enforcement agents, armed with a search warrant, entered the property and began going through the everything. Dr. Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician and he was the man who performed CPR on him before he died. There is so much controversy regarding Michael's death. I really do hope they get to the bottom of it all for the family's sake.

These two are everywhere. We all remember the rumor that R & B singer The Dream and Christina Milian were engaged but I guess Christina felt she needed to confirm it to make it more official to the world. She tells sources that they don’t have any wedding plans made yet – but she can confirm that is has not already happened. They want to have an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family present. Now R & B singer The Dream recently discussed his feelings on his ex-wife Nivea and Lil Wayne expecting a child together. He says that he has never met Lil Wayne and he guesses they are somewhere in the grey because they haven’t had the chance to talk. He wishes the two of them the best, however, if marriage comes up, then they will definitely need to have a conversation. Even though she’s pregnant, he says there is no real commitment between them, to the point where they need to have a conversation.

50 Cent Undergoes Surgery

Rapper 50 Cent has undergone laser surgery to remove some of his tattoos for the Hollywood scene. 50 says in certain movie roles, the directors ask him to hide his tattoos, which involves him arriving to the set four hours early just to sit in the makeup chair and get covered, so to prevent that problem, he has permanently removed them off his right arm. Good for him!

Tyrese Fires Back at Ex-Wife

Tyrese wants his estranged wife to get a job of her own. In his latest court filings, Tyrese says he's already paid $75,000 worth of respondents professional fees and costs for a marriage which lasted less than 10 months, and that prior to the 10-month marriage, the respondent and him entered into a prenuptial agreement. He basically then goes on to say that the chick can work legally and is able to work. Tyrese also disclosed the fact that he has no movies lined up for 2009 and that he spends $4000 a month on clothes, $2200 on dining out and $1900 in groceries. Well!

Tragic Death of Former NFL Quarterback

It is tragic when anyone loses their life. My heart not only goes out to the family and friends of Steve McNair but to the family and friends of the female victim as well.

One of the biggest stories of the weekend was the untimely death of former NFL quarterback and Alcorn State University standout Steve McNair. Now authorities have ruled his death a homicide, though police said Sunday they have not classified the death of the woman who was actually involved in a romantic relationship with him. Police found 36-year old McNair and 20-year olfd Sahel Kazemi fatally shot in his condo in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Saturday afternoon. McNair was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest, while Kazemi was shot once in the head. Autopsies were performed on them both. Now McNair, married and a father of four, had reportedly been dating Kazemi over the past several months. Several pictures of the two have surfaced on the Internet parasaling on some type of vacation. Neighbors of Kazemi say they saw McNair at her apartment so often, that they thought he actually lived there. It was reported that he met the 20-year old as she worked at Dave and Buster’s. When their bodies were found Saturday morning, police reported that the two had been dead for a period of hours prior to the bodies being discovered. A friend discovered the bodies but called another friend to the apartment, who then called the police.

Witnesses told police that McNair had been to two bars late Friday into early Saturday. Neighbors said a Cadillac Escalade driven by Kazemi - registered to both her and McNair - was already in the condo parking lot when McNair arrived at about 1:30 a.m, presuming she was already there when he arrived. The bodies were found two days after Kazemi was pulled over in the Escalade and charged with a DUI. McNair was in the car at the time. Kazemi's sister, Sepide Kazemi, said she suspected her sister was the other fatality when she heard on the news Saturday afternoon that McNair and someone else had been found dead. She said her family had a feeling it was her because she would be the only young woman with him at that time, as far they knew. Her sister has spoken out very loudly that McNair was getting a divorce from his wife and they were separated, giving reason as to why he was spending so much time with her sister.

Nashville police reported that the gun found at the murder scene was purchased by his apparent girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, just two days before the shooting. Investigators believe Kazemi purchased the pistol from a private vendor, hours after she was busted for drunk driving with McNair in her SUV on Thursday night.

McNair spent 13 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Tennessee Titans. I actually remember being quite young watching him play at Alcorn State University.

A public memorial service will be held Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Reeves Funeral Home in Mount Olive, Mississippi. His funeral will be held Saturday in Hattiesburg, but the family has not yet finalized the arrangements. Sources say he will be buried in Mount Olive, Mississippi.

This evening I was following the story of Michael Jackson being rushed to the hospital due to cardiac arrest. They recently confirmed he died at the age of 50. I was talking about this morning the death of Charlie’s Angel’s star Farrah Fawcett. It has been a sad day in entertainment. May we keep their family and friends in our prayers.

Last night’s performance by newcomer to the game, Jeremih, was supposed to be a great industry affair at Luckie Food Lounge in Atlanta, at least that's what it started as, before it went wrong. Sources say the night ended with 3 men being transported to a local hospital with stab wounds. According to witnesses, a fight broke out between DJ Drama and Young Jeezy’s CTE crew around 2:30 am, after Jeremih left the stage. They say as many as 20 men were involved. The altercation spilled out into the parking lot across the street where gunshots were heard. Most seriously injured man was Jeezy’s artist Bama, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the face. Most of Young Jeezy’s bodyguards and entourage were arrested at the scene. 1LIFE1Love’s Boo was also arrested but has since been released. Think he was charged with disorderly conduct. Wow! Anyway, he has a birthday party coming up in Jackson you may want to check out. They will actually premiere the video remix to I Get Alot of That featuring Boo with Young Jeezy.

Kelis Needs Support from Nas to Make It

They are trying to make it seem like homegirl is broke. More of Kelis' financials documents have been made public from her petition for divorce from Nas. According to the documents, she made just over $21,000 a month between November of '08 and April '09 and hasn't toured in over a year, which is how she earns her income. Well of course to us, we definitely could live on that but that's nothing for her compared to what she spends and how she spends it. Kelis says she needs more than $80,000 a month from her estranged husband because she spends more than $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts, travel, plus $14,000 a month on mortgage. Well dang. She is also asking for funds to furnish a nanny as well as money to store stem cells from the baby's umbilical cord to treat any unforeseen illnesses. Now sources say that can be used to treat 70 life-threatening diseases alone and I am sure it has a nice price tag attached to it. I knew this divorce was going to get ugly.

Jamie Foxx Says He is Not to Blame

Jamie Foxx says just because he is the host of a party, doesn’t mean he is responsible if things go wrong. At least that’s what he is saying in a new lawsuit. Foxx, along with everyone involved in an event at Club Social back in 2007, was sued in April after a bartender claims he suffered 170 stitches and nerve damage after falling on broken glass. Jamie has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, saying he shouldn’t have to pay to defend himself because it wasn’t his responsibility to ensure everyone’s safety at the party. Foxx is suing Social, along with a number of other companies, to pay for his legal fees.

NFL Player Sentenced

Cleveland Browns' Donte' Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter on Tuesday. If you may recall, Donte' was drunk, his alcohol level twice the legal limit when he hit and killed a man trying to cross the busy intersection that runs between Miami and Miami beach this past March. Donte was sentenced to a month in jail, two years house arrest and eight years probation.

Two papers in Chicago repoprted this week that Jennifer Hudson had a baby shower last weekend, citing sources close to the family. The Oscar winner is reportedly seven months pregnant and is engaged to reality TV star and now wrestler David Otunga, aka Punk from I Love New York. No word yet on the sex of the baby. Calls to Hudson's camp were not immediately returned. Sources say she plans to get married in the Fall. She looks pregnant for sure!

Kelis Calls Out Estranged Husband Nas

Nas' soon to be ex-wife Kelis is coming out swinging after pictures of her "cheating" husband and friend Maxwell hit the Internet of them partying in Turks and Caicos. Taking her frustration out on Twitter, Kelis allegedly took another stab at Nas calling him a cheater and coward. She talked about scumbag husbands and how they should go down in flames together. Rapper 50 Cent is evidently upset because when he paid $5 million for Mike Tyson's former Connecticut Mansion in 2003, he was told it needed only $500,000.00 worth of repairs. Well, turns out the costs were closer to $6 million. Yes, you read the number right. 50 cent says he never would have bought the house if he had known that. Would anyone? Now he wants the inspection company to pay him $3 million. That’s right, he is suing them. Source say 50 Cent had tried to sell the home for $18 million in 2007 and after getting no one wanted it, he lowered the price to $14 million and finally ended up taking if off the market altogether.

Rapper C-Murder Gets Jail Time

Three years ago Louisiana rapper C-Murder got pissed off after a Baton Rouge club bouncer told him they had to pat him down and search him before allowing him inside a club. C-Murder evidently cussed out the staff and left, only to return just seconds later to shoot in the club, at the same bouncers who denied his entrance. Two days ago C-Murder pled no contest to the shooting and received a ten-year prison sentence. The video tape was released of the footage taken from the club’s surveillance that was used as evidence in his trial. After I saw the footage, I see why he didn’t want to get searched.

Producer Swizz Beatz has asked the judge in his divorce proceedings to issue a gag order and seal the court records. His soon to be ex-wife Mashonda's attorney finds Swizz' new attitude 'curious' insisting the divorce and support requests had been flying under the radar until Swizz and Alicia Keys went public about their long-term affair and he released a song implying that he likes it when Alicia serves him breakfast naked. Swizz Beatz estranged wife Mashonda's friends are now snitching that Swizz is trying to play her sideways. They say he's slashed Mashaonda’s support payments from $5,000 a week to $3,500 a month, meanwhile she's seen charges for jewelry Swizz bought Alicia Keys in France. Sources also say over the winter, the heat went out in Mashonda's 30,000 square feet mansion and Swizz wouldn't have it fixed. Business Tellers from Swizz's side say the heat was only out in one wing of the house and not where Mashonda and their son were sleeping and thatn Swizz has put settlement offers on the table, but Mashonda won't say what she needs. While all this going on, Swizz has allegedly went public about his relationship with Alecia Keys but wants his estranged wife to leave Alecia out of all the divorce mess. Sources say Lauren and Lil Wayne weren't happy about the pregnancy initially, but they’ve accepted it and chosen to raise the baby together. Now everyone's all smiles and excited about the new baby. Lauren says that she's not worried about the pregnancy affecting her career, and doesn't really care about what people think. Lauren and Lil Wayne decided not to live together or continue with their five year on-again and off-again relationship. Now didn’t Lil Wayne just have a baby by some female up North that he was all smiles about too! I think safe sex needs to be revisited among the entertainment industry. Doesn't anyone use protection anymore. Seems like you should be worried about alot more than just getting pregnant.

Michel'le Going After Suge Knight

Suge Knight is being sued by his ex-wife, and Dr. Dre baby mama, R&B singer Michel'le for back child and spousal support. According the the Wall Street Journal, Michel'le, who hasn't received a payment from Suge Knight in 3 months, went to the officials in charge of Knight and Death Row bankruptcy case and asked them to use the estates to pay more the than $40,000 she's owed. Michel'le has requested $13,000 a month. Michel'le married Suge Knight while he was in jail in 1997. Why I did not know this! I was a little confused but evidently homegirl has a baby by Dr. Dre and one by Suge Knight. I guess!

Rapper Kanye West pleaded not guilty to battery charges, via his attorney, in LA last Friday. The charges stem from the run in Kanye had with photographers in LAX last Sept. 11. The wrong day to be doing anything at an airport. A pre-trial hearing has been set for July 15th. I hear he also broke up with that girlfriend of his that had so much drama around her! Mmmm??

Now that the divorce is settled, it looks like the relationship between producer Swizz Beatz and Alecia Keys is coming to light. Do you remember when he openly denied any involvement that Alecia had anything to do with the breakup of his marriage and she was not that type of girl. I told you guys that was really a friend sticking up for a friend and her reputation. Some sources say that he stood up for her like a real man would because that’s his situation. Although his wife openly said Alecia was the reason, he NEVER brought her name into the situation. Now after the storm, the two were seen vacationing in Miami together and the pictures were actually posted on the Internet.

Snoop Dogg’s Marijuana Saves the Day

One of Snoop Dogg’s boys was busted accepting a package of marijuana at the Norfolk Plaza Hotel in Virginia after police were alerted about a suspicious package. The box of marijuana reportedly came from Canada and after the carrier was arrested, Snoop Dogg stepped up with his marijuana prescription and told officers that the package belonged to him and had just been mis-labeled. An investigation is underway.

Yung Joc is going after Block Entertainment and Bad Boy Records. They say he might be the only one in the history of the label to take Diddy to court over money and his music. Shady business deals, missing budgets, and now rumors of company financial hardships have longed been rumored about the company. Block Entertainment’s number one artist has been noticeably absent from the roster for at least a year. Joc reportedly recently broke down all his gripes regarding his relationship with the owner of Block Entertainment. Joc alleges that due to contractual situations, unpaid royalties, and unpaid advances, he and his legal team is currently in the process of taking legal action against his record label. That damn Hoopz! Hoopz from VH1's Flavor of Love recently spoke with Big Tigger on the release of pornography pictures and clips of a sex tape that was leaked on the Internet over the weekend of her and an unknown man. She says its definitely her on the tape and the tape is of her and a boyfriend from a previous relationship. She says she thought the tape was destroyed. She says the tape was taped a few years back before she was who she is. The Hoopz we all know now!

Rick Ross' Fake Shades

The self-described Boss of Miami, Rick Ross, may have to pay closer attention while shopping. Rick Ross is featured on the cover of the May issue of XXL magazine wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton shades. Unfortunately according to Louis Vuitton reps, the glasses are fake. Louis Vuitton wrote a letter to XXL magazine editors that read in part that they were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, they felt it was important to clarify several points. The letter continued, "stating that first the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal." Wow! The guy who actually gave him the shades says he just "pimped" the shades out!

Chris Brown Speaks on Rhiana's Nude Photos

Now you may have heard by now, that nude photos of Rhiana were leaked over the Internet this weekend and some have suggested that Chris Brown may be responsible for the leak. Well, Chris Brown is apparently clearing up his name and denying any involvement with the leaked pictures. Chris Brown has shot down rumors and gossip sites speculating he leaked naked pictures of Rhiana on the Internet, insisting he had nothing to do with the scandal. A set of snapshots apparently featuring the Umbrella singer in various states surfaced online Friday and he said he has nothing to do with it. It even showed a picture of him with panties on top of his head. Okay! Also, one of Chris Brown’s back-up dancers posted a video of him talking bad about Rihanna. Apparently he was around both of them as a couple and he has his own take of what’s been going on. He called Rihanna a female slut who hit Chris first. He says she’s doing all of this “victim" game for publicity and is trying to get a Playboy deal out of it. Did you see the pictures of her face after the fight? I don't think you can fake that!

Just when you thought they were a happy couple! The marriage between rapper Nas and R&B singer Kelis is officially over. Sources say that Kelis filed divorce papers last week. A representative denied intitial reports that verbal abuse and infidelity were the reasons behind the filing. The couple officially tied the knot in a small ceremony in Atlanta on January 8, 2005. News of the couple’s divorce arrives as Nas and Kelis prepare for the arrival of their first child together. Kelis is currently seven months pregnant with a son. I guess that didn't even matter! And get this, sources say Kelis may actually be happy about the divorce. They say the two have been cheating for some time on each other and Kelis getting pregnant was an attempt to keep her man.

What is up With These Celebrity Stalkers?

According to TMZ, a judge granted L.A. Lakers star Derek Fisher a restraining order in 2005 against a crazy female who calls herself “The REAL Mrs. Fisher.” Apparently this woman, is obsessed with Derek Fisher to the point where she follows him home and harasses his real wife and kids. Court papers document love notes she has sent him. She also left notes for him on her Myspace page and her Twitter page. Wow! That's crazy!

Dennis Rodman Ordered to Pay

Dennis Rodman has been ordered to pay $255,000 to a Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel employee who says Dennis humiliated her by grabbing her, forcing her to dance, holding her against her will and slapping her on the butt in front of co-workers and patrons. Dennis nor his attorneys showed up to dispute the case so U.S. District Court Judge Robert C. Jones entered the default judgment against him.

No Jail Time for Tyra Bank’s stalker

Brady Green was convicted of stalking Tyra Banks last week but lucked up and didn't get any jail time. While Brady could have gotten as much as 90 days in jail, the judge felt ordering him out of town would better serve justice saying, "Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive. And that location is not likely to be the city of New York." So evidently he just has to move!

Aretha Franklin Wants Royalties!

Aretha Franklin went on a local Detroit radio station talking about the hat maker who created the grey felt hat she wore to the inauguration. The hat received numerous reviews. We found out months ago that Naomi Campbell’s billionaire boyfriend Vlad, evidently is married with children but that isn’t stopping the two from being seen all over the world together. It’s also not stopping Naomi's girlfriends from telling anyone who'll listen that she's moving to Russia. According to one of her friends, they say Naomi and her boyfriend are very much in love and she plans to move to Russia. Well, from all the pictures we see, it sure does look like it. However, his wife, reportedly, Ekaterina, came forward early March claiming to be his wife and the mother of his 12-year- old daughter. She apparently told her friends that she will not divorce her husband. She said that it's just a ridiculous affair and that Naomi is committing adultry. She says she's use to him spending money on other women as he's done in the past but no one has been so open and disrespectful as Naomi.

A woman who was previously warned to stay away from actor and director Tyler Perry has been arrested for stalking. 36-year old Dawne Wilson will remain in a Fulton County Jail without bond until her April 30 court hearing. She has been charged with aggravated stalking. Perry says this lady has been stalking him for the past year or so. She has apparently shown up at Tyler's home and his film studio countless times and sent him as many as 200 emails a day. Sources say she also planned out their wedding and even bought them a pair of wedding rings. Finally Tyler placed a restraining order on the female and the next time she showed up, which was last Wednesday, she was arrested. Tyler says what's crazy is that he’s never even met the woman, nor has he even responded to her emails. Wow! Now that is a stalker!

Watch out Keyshia! She is back and on the grind. Now Keyshia Cole hasn't really been linked to anyone since breaking up with Young Jeezy, but rumor has it that she may be dating two gentlemen in the entertainment business. Is this Scott Storch! Wow! What a difference a few less dollars makes! And the fact, they said he had a drug addiction. I hate to hear stories such as these because he is such a talented producer. Just when he thought things couldn't probably couldn't get any worse, he gets hit with another one. The troubled producer has been charged with grand theft auto after he failed to return a Bentley following its lease expiration date last year. Storch was in a Broward County court last week and pled not guilty to the charges that his lawyer never expected to turn criminal. His lawyer says there was no criminal wrong doing involved.

T.I.’s Former Bodyguard Sentenced

T.I.'s former bodyguard has been sentenced to a year in prison for his part in the weapons scandal which led the rapper to being convicted of illegally possessing machine guns. He apparently received the same sentence as T.I. Corey Williams, who began working for Tip in July of 2007, had purchased illegal guns on behalf of Harris, who is barred from obtaining any due to previous criminal convictions.
Williams was arrested in October 2007 and allegedly worked with police to obtain evidence to convict his former boss. He has now received a sentence of one year and a day behind bars following a plea deal.

Allen Iverson Back in the News

Not even a month after a judge ruled that Detroit Piston Allen Iverson has to pay $260,000 to a D.C. area man after he received a beating at the hands of A.I.'s bodyguards, another man is claiming to have received a beating from Allen Iverson's security squad. Sources say an Ohio man is claiming Detroit Piston Allen Iverson’s bodyguard attacked him last weekend while attending a birthday party in Detroit. Guy Walker told Local 4news in Detroit he was at the South Beach Pizza Bar when Allen Iverson showed up. Walker said he joined a group of people in the restaurant who were trying to talk and get autographs from the basketball star. Walker said Iverson's bodyguard started to give him a hard time and words were exchanged between the two. As he turned to walk away, Walker said the bodyguard hit him. He said he didn’t raise his hand to anyone. He was taken to Henry Ford Hospital where he received nine stitches.

Coretta Scott King's Doctor Arrested

The man who treated Coretta Scott King for cancer at a clinic in Mexico was arrested last week and charged with practicing medicine without a license and giving patients unapproved drugs. 73-year old Kurt Donsbach, who treated the widow of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., before she died of ovarian cancer in 2006, was charged with 11 felony counts. He was arrested during his weekly Internet radio broadcast and was held on $1.5 million bail. Donsbach called himself a naturopathic doctor and told patients his supplements could cure cancer.

The Oxygen Network has apparently announced plans for a reality show with actress Keisha Knight Pulliam and her live in boyfriend. Rudy from “The Cosby Show” is definitely all grown up now, and she’s about to show off her life on cable TV! Homegirl was just seen celebrating her 30th birthday last weekend I believe doing it up! The network Oxygen said Wednesday that it’s developing a reality show about actress Keshia Knight Pulliam and her live-in boyfriend, an Atlanta area entrepreneur. It will explore what it’s like being young, rich, single and co-habitating. Wow! Will this be interesting? No air date is set for the show, who they say is titled “Keshia and Kaseem.”

Michael Vick Returns to Prison

Michael Vick is being sent back to Leavenworth Prison after a judge ruled it was not necessary for him to be present during the remainder of his bankruptcy hearing. The judge actually rejected Vick's initial bankruptcy restructuring plan and him and his lawyers had hoped he would be able to remain at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail in southeastern Virginia to work on his new one until his next hearing scheduled for the end of April. That didn’t happen. Vick will be shipped back to Kansas where he will remain until his release to home confinement May 21 and from federal custody July 20.

Did you all see this on MediaTakeOut.com? Of course, their heading included something about Mississippi's Pimping Mayor! Wow! I am sure there is a good explanation for this. But honestly, I can set the record straight and say that I heard these chicks were doing a photoshoot of some sort and the Mayor was passing by, and stopped to see what was going on and why they were in the street! Sources say they asked if he could pose with them for a picture. MediaTakeOut.com described the females as working girls. I don't believe they were just on the corner in Jackson ladies and gentlemen! Update: You all will learn to listen to me! Mayor Frank Melton has responded to the controversial pictures that surfaced on MediaTakeOut.com. The pictures were actually taken by photographer Daren Gray. I had spoke to this guy awhile back and he mentioned he shot pictures in Jackson and the mayor stopped by one of his shoots. Gray said the pictures were taken over a year ago for a car magazine. But he recently posted two of them to his Jackson Free Press Lounge List, by accident. (Not sure about that one!) Tuesday night, Melton responded to the controversy surrounding the photos. He said they were very innocent. He was having lunch at a restaurant and he saw them shooting a commercial and he was just excited to see people shooting a commercial on Farish street in Jackson.

I didn't report this Friday on here but talked about it for sure on air. T.I was sentened to a year and a day, as expected, Friday morning in Atlanta. A Northern Georgia District judge sentenced T.I. to one year and one day in prison on felony weapons charges, calling the rapper's plea deal "experimental" but a success. T.I. is scheduled to report to prison voluntarily within the next six to eight weeks. However, the judge acknowledged that the rapper has agreed-upon commitments that will not allow him to enter prison before May 19. Well, isn't that nice of him! The sentence of one year and one day could allow T.I. to be released earlier for good behavior. Of course, Tiny was there to support her man. Did you all see the episode of Road to Redemption of him and Tiny on the date? I thought that was so cute!! Just adorable.

Kobe Bryant & His Wife Being Sued, Another NBA Player in Court, Suge Knight Back in the Spotlight, 50 Cent Says He Quit, & Is Lil Kim Joining TLC?

L.A. Lakers star athlete, Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa are being sued by a former housekeeper who claims she endured constant humiliation and verbal attacks by Mrs. Bryant while working in the couple's California home. According to the L.A. Times, 48-year old Maria Jimenez filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the Bryants in Orange County Superior Court March 20. Jimenez, a Peruvian immigrant, accused Vanessa Bryant of imposing degrading chores and claims that she regularly suffered through constant name-calling. The suit alleges that on one occasion Bryant shouted, "I don't want you to touch my baby. I hired you for housekeeping, not baby-sitting," when one of the children sought consolation from the housekeeper. The suit further states that athlete's wife often used profanity when addressing her. Jimenez also detailed an exchange when she accidentally machine washed a $690 blouse and alleges she was forced to dig through a bag of dog feces to retrieve the tag. Bryant's wife told her she would have to work off the cost of the top. The couple has denied the allegations and through their legal team issued a statement saying the allegations are outrageous. She was employed at the Bryant home from September 2007 to March 2008. Jimenez further states that she often worked 60 hours a week and claims the Bryant's owe her $20,000 in unpaid overtime. Why do I easily believe this one?

Sources say Scott Storch is doing well in rehab. They say the once successful producer checked himself into rehab a few weeks ago and he’s doing fine. Toni Braxton Impersonator Jailed & Faces 3 Years

A Las Vegas-based celebrity impersonator remains in jail in South America on fraud charges stemming from a live concert that was promoted as the real Toni Braxton.
Las Vegas celebrity impersonator Trina Johnson has been in a Surinamese jail ever since she was unwittingly used in a Toni Braxton concert scam in February. Trina Johnson says she was booked to do a tribute concert to Toni Braxton only to find out that concert goers were expecting the real thing. Moments into her second song the audience of 1500 began throwing bottles and booing. She was arrested shortly after. Meanwhile the concert promoter and all the proceeds from the concert are nowhere to be found. Trina is facing a three-year prison sentence after authorities in the Latin American republic accused her of fraud for impersonating singer Toni Braxton even though Trina claims to have a contract that clearly states she was booked to impersonate the singer. Prosecutors in that country are allowed to detain the accused up to 67 days, and there's no such thing as bail. Trina's husband was also arrested but he was released after spending 2 weeks in a 8 feet by 10 foot open-air jail cell with no heat and no lights and 11 other prisoners existing on a breakfast of one cup of hot tea and a small piece of bread. That is terrible! Evidently, this is one of those places they warn you about not going to jail in.

Michael Vick Out of Jail and In Motion

According to the Associated Press, suspended NFL player Michael Vick has left a federal lockup in Kansas, apparently bound for Virginia for a bankruptcy hearing next week. The U.S. Bureau of Prisons Web site shows that Michael Vick is no longer at the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. It lists his status as in transit. It’s not clear when he left, or where he is right now. But two weeks ago, a bankruptcy judge in Virginia, ordered the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback to testify at an April 2nd hearing on his Chapter 11 reorganization plan. Judge Frank Santoro also ordered Vick to pay the costs of traveling to Virginia for the hearing. Vick is serving 23 months for a dogfighting conspiracy. He’s eligible to move into home confinement on May 21st and is scheduled to be released July 20th.

Jim Jones was in court yesterday facing assault charges stemming from the run-in he had with Jay Z's right hand man Ty Ty's little brother, Javon Smith at a New York Louis Vuitton store back in December. Jim Jones appeared in court last month and pled not guilty on the assault charge and has vowed to take the case to trial, calling the plea deal a set up for a civil suit. Sources say video of the whole thing is part of the evidence against Jim Jones and reportedly shows him hitting and kicking the young man right in front of Ne-Yo. Javon Smith has already filed a multi-million dollar civil suit against Jim Jones.

The two met when Roy was working at Rocawear and have two daughters together. The breakup is the latest legal battle for Dash, whose empire was once worth about $50 million dollars. Tom Joyner and the rest of his crew were surprised to learn when they recently came back from vacation that Steve Harvey would be replacing them in their flagship city of Chicago. Steve has been on at WGCI while Tom Joyner started their nationally syndicated show in Chicago at v103 and have been there for over 13 years. But ClearChannel this week moved Steve Harvey over to V103, replacing Tom Joyner. Tom Joyner said that they always used to say that when they came back from vacation something big was going to happen but this one topped it all. Chris Brown in court & Judge Grants Him Ability to Have Contact with Rihanna

Chris Brown appeared in court yesterday and Rihanna, through her lawyer, asked a judge not to prohibit her boyfriend from having contact with her while he faces felony charges of assaulting her. The judge granted Rihanna's wish. 19-year old Brown attacked 21-year old Rihanna during an argument in February that began when she found a text message from another woman on his cell phone. Brown appeared before a judge Thursday on the two felony counts, but his arraignment was delayed until next month at the request of his lawyer. Authorities charged Brown with felony counts of assault and making criminal threats. Rihanna was not in the courtroom. Things are coming to the light how things went down through court documents released Thursday. A police statement said the incident began when Rihanna found a text message on Brown's cell phone from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with. Brown was driving a vehicle with Rhianna as the front passenger and she picked up Brown's cell phone and observed a three-page text message. A verbal argument started and Brown pulled the vehicle over, reached over Rhinnan, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force her out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the vehicle. She then faced Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left. The assault caused Rhinana’s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle, leaving blood in the car, resulting in the pictures we saw earlier on various sites. The detective said Rhianna then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant, who did not answer. However, she pretended to talk to her and stated that she was on her way and to have the police waiting. After the call, Brown stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you! Brown resumed punching her and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. More details were released as the fight went on and a resident in the neighborhood actually called 911. Brown issued a public apology for the incident last month. It took Chris 9 days to send a text message apologizing to Rhianna. That's alot of drama.

Ever since the infamous fight between Chris Brown and Rihanna, the paprazzi has been trying their best to get a photo of the two together. And they have a good reason to! The two were involved in an altercation February 8 on a Beverly Hills street after which Brown was arrested. Days later pictures of Rihanna's battered face were leaked on the internet. Now that the two have reportedly gotten back together, the stakes are even higher and paparazzi could potentially cash in on tabloid gold mine if they snap a photo of the singers together. When word hit that the couple spent a weekend together at Diddy's Miami mansion, helicopters buzzed over the estate trying to get photos of the couple. The efforts only produced pictures of Brown and his family. According to reports, photo agencies said Monday that the first picture would be worth at least $100,000. Los Angeles prosecutors have yet to decide whether to formally charge Brown over the incident. They say he may be back in court Thursday.

Atlanta Drug Charges Against Lil Wayne Dropped

Reportedly, pending drug charges against rapper Lil Wayne in Atlanta have been dropped. Sources say, in 2006, Lil Wayne was arrested at a hotel in Atlantic Station after he called room service and they reported him after they saw drugs scattered around the room. Well, Lil Wayne's lawyer was able to successfully argue that the room where Wayne was arrested was not where he was actually staying, but merely a changing room. Therefore, the case was dismissed.

If you missed this last week, R & B singer and actor Tyrese Gibson was being hauled back into court by his estranged wife, Norma Mitchell. She had filed court papers that put a new wrinkle in their on-going divorce proceedings. The couple have a young daughter together and she is seeking modification of their custody arrangement, as well as a change in child & spousal support. According to the court documents, Mitchell claims Gibson was an absentee-father who didn't support her or their daughter. The couple filed for divorce last October after being married for just 10 months!

According to the documents, Tyrese met Norma in London in 2002 where she was an unemployed college student living with her mother. She claims he asked her to move to the States with him a year later and she dropped out of college and left her family behind to be with him. In 2007, he asked her to marry him after their daughter was born and required her to sign a prenuptial agreement. They married just three days after she signed the prenup and shortly afterward, they began to have disagreements. Tyrese would become angry and aggressive and leave her home with the baby for days and weeks at a time. According to Norma, she didn’t see the divorce coming because the two had been searching for a home together. Tyrese currently pays her $5,000 a month, plus rent on a $2700 apartment and almost $800 a month for the lease on her Range Rover. However, that was not enough for Norma who claims her expenses far exceed the $5000 a month he gives her. So what is she spending it on? Well, according to reports documents, she says Tyrese prefers the baby doesn’t wear any outfit twice, the baby’s jewelry costs over 1,000, shoes for the baby is a $100, and toys and other things for her add up to at least $600. She also takes her to Disney land every other month. Norma is requesting that the court orders Tyrese to pay her at least $12,000 a month.

Well, a judged ruled today that he has to pay up for now! He ordered him to pay his estranged wife a lump sum of $65,000. Tyrese was also ordered to pay $6,230 a month in support, plus $2,730 monthly in rent and to continue to pay Norma's $800.00 car note. These amounts will stand until the judgement becomes final. Norma is contesting her prenuptial agreement as well.

Are Chris Brown and Rhiana back Together Again?

Now according to People Magazine, Chris Brown and Rhiana may be back together again. The couple were reportedly spending some time together at Sean Diddy Comb’s mansion on Miami Beach’s Star Island this past weekend. While there was no sign of Rihana, who insiders say flew by private jet from Mexico, several pictures of Chris, his friends, and family surfaced. As reported earlier, Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted. They say Rihana is reluctant to press charges and once source even says she may testify on his behalf. Sources say they are now back in LA, which they traveled together from Miami, and may even be staying together in the same hotel. T.I.’s baby mama may be smiling a little more today because yesterday a Georgia judge ordered TI to pay more child support. The Superior Court judge on Wednesday boosted TIP's payment from just over $3,000 to $5,000 a month to LaShon Dixon. The 28-year old rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, at first had voluntarily paid about $2,000 per month to support his two sons, ages 7 and 9. T.I., who was originally ordered to pay for the boys to attend private school, is no longer required to make that payment.

Morgan Freeman Being Sued

Remember last year when Morgan Free was involved in a serious car crash with a female friend in Mississippi? Well, now she, who was the passenger in that vehicle, is reportedly a friend of Freeman’s soon to be ex-wife, is currently SUING the actor. According to the lawsuit that filed, Demaris Meyer says that Freeman was drinking alcohol during their dinner and during another get together that night, that they both attended. She claims that Freeman invited her to stay at his home for the night guaranteeing that she would have her own bedroom. Okay! She says when she agreed, Freeman drove her 1997 Nissan Maxima to his house, but lost control of the vehicle and ran off the side of the highway. Meyer implied in the lawsuit that Freeman must have been intoxicated. Even though they both were rescued using the “jaws of life”, both Freeman and Meyer suffered serious injuries. Meyer is suing for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, permanent disability term, and additional damages. Something sounds strange about this story! Mother of 14 Reportedly Offered $1 Million to be a Porn Star

Are you serious? Nadya Suleman, the new mother of fourteen, and the one who recently gave birth to 7 kids, is being pursued by a popular adult film studio to star in pornographic movies. Now according to TMZ, adult film studio Vivid Entertainment has made Suleman a $1 million offer, plus a year of health insurance, in exchange for doing whatever they need her to do in a XXX film. Vivid Co-Chair Steven Hirsh said that Nadya obviously needs income to ensure that her children are secure, so they are offering her up to $1 million to act in one movie. He said they would schedule production so the movie could be shot in less than one week. Wow! Hirsch makes it clear that hooking up with Vivid makes good, bottom line sense for Suleman. "There is a tremendous amount of interest in Nadya, and we can help her capitalize on that interest and put some real cash in her bank account." Chris Brown is set to begin anger management classes. But sources say its more of a PR move and not genuine at all. Reportedly, rapper Fabolous' tour bus was pulled over in Arkansas and police found 500 pounds of marijuana. However, Faboulous was not on the bus. But, two drivers were quick to identify who they were driving for and said the drugs did not belong to them. One said they were driving to Atlanta to pick up a rapper who he couldn't name, while the other driver claimed they were driving to Boston to meet Fabolous who had flown on ahead of them from the NBA All Star weekened in Phoenix. The drivers were carrying over $4,000.00 in cash plus police found a black bag with $2,400.00 in it. The drivers were arrested on drug possession charges and one received a $200,000 bond while the other's bond was set at $75,000.00.

According to The Associated Press, it was the highest grossing film ever for both Perry and the film's studio, Lionsgate. She reportely said she was locked in a mansion with him and the girls from October until the end of December and towards the end of the first week of filming, they made love for the first time, and slept together every night after that. Now despite what was previously reported, the Brazilian news Web site G1 reported that Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster was rushed to the Sirio-Libanes Hospital's intensive care unit last Friday after a medical emergency that took place during a liposuction procedure. They actually say she suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest as she was being anesthetized for the cosmetic surgery. Foster had reportedly been put into a medically-induced coma for 24 hours and is currently recovering. G1 reported that a U.S. neuro-surgeon from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Gabriel Hunt, is handling her case. He left the Sao Paulo hospital late Monday without giving comment. Also refusing to comment are officials at the hospital. The family has demanded total privacy.

More Chris Brown Controversy Takes a Stab at His Career

Chris Brown is continuing to feel the wrath of his recent charges. Wrigley had already suspended their current advertising with the singer and now Sesame Street said it was dropping all future re-broadcasts of Brown’s August 13, 2007 appearance on the show. And although it was unknown at press time if any other outlets were following suit, WAKS FM 96.5 in Cleveland reportedly announced that it yanked all Brown's songs from its on-air playlist until further notice. They are reportedly the first radio station to do so. Brown’s campaign for the long-running “Got Milk?” series was already scheduled to end this week, but the campaign released a statement saying it takes the allegations against the singer “very seriously.” Brown will also miss a number of events he was scheduled to attend at this weekend’s NBA All-Star game in Phoenix. Now they say Rihanna is finally speaking up on the incident, saying Chris Brown did threaten her. Sources say he initially pulled over the car and told her to walk back to her hotel after an argument. Law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ that Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that's what started the confrontation. Well, evidently she grabbed the keys and it was all over from there.

Woman Files $15 Million Dollar Suit Against Pro Baseball Player For Exposing Her to AIDS

A New York woman has filed a $15 million lawsuit against reportedly the HIV positive baseball star Roberto Alomar for insisting on having unprotected sex with her. The 31-year old woman said she lived with Alomar for three years and knew something was up as she watched his health begin to deteriorate. He apparently finally got tested when he developed a persistent cough and shingles. By then, according to the suit, Alomar’s skin had turned purple, and a spinal tap showed he had full-blown AIDS. Now she says she knew about the test results but claims in her suit that Alomar insisted upon having unprotected sex with her. Alomar retired from baseball due to health issues in 2005. The woman is demanding $15 million in punitive damages for emotional stress, and exposing her children to the virus. The couple reprotedly broke up in October 2008.

Rhiana Discharged From the Hospital

20-year-old singer Rihanna, who sustained injures during a Pre-Grammy Awards fight with her 19-year-old boyfriend Chris Brown, is now out of the hospital. LAPD officers, who interviewed the Barbadian native in the hospital, say she sustained violent trauma to her face and body, including bite marks on her arms and fingers, contusions, swelling, bruising and a bloody nose. Rihanna may have inflicted similar damage on Brown as they fought inside and outside his rented Lamborghini in LA early Sunday morning. Witnesses actually heard her screaming and called 911. Brown fled the scene on foot and later turned himself in accompanied by famed attorney Mark Geragos, who once repped Michael Jackson among other notables. Rihanna’s reps say her upcoming 21st birthday party on Feb. 20 in New York has been canceled. Also her Malaysian concert has also been reportedly scrapped as well as appearances at the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend in Phoenix this weekend. Chris Brown’s next court date is March 5th. He is charged with making terroristic threats against Rihanna, who may not be willing to testify against him in open court.

Now yesterday I told you on air that Usher left LA during the Grammy weekend to be by his wife Tameka’s side after doctors ran into some difficulty after a cosmetic surgery that took place in Brazil. According to the female victim, which sources identified as Rhiana, it was an argument that turned violent. Rhiana was said to have had visible injuries and she idenitified Chris as her attacker. After the incident, both canceled their scheduled performances at the Grammy’s. Brown turned himself in around 7:00 PM last night and was released shortly after on $50,000 bail. There are so many rumors as to why they got into it. An inside source says the trouble started when Chris considered Rihana to be “damaged goods” after he discovered she had contracted Herpes. Former Detroit Mayor a Free Man After 99-Day Jail Stay

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick regained his freedom early Tuesday morning, emerging from jail after a 99-day sentence. The 38-year-old Kilpatrick, about 25 pounds lighter than when he entered jail at the end of October, left the downtown Detroit facility early this morning to a crowd full of people cheering him on. Sources say Kilpartick is now looking for work and is scheduled to interview Wednesday with an unnamed company at an undisclosed location in Texas. His wife and their three young sons, already have left Michigan. The next five years will be spent on probation and paying off the bulk of $1 million in restitution to the city. Good luck to him.

Atlanta rapper Rocko has been sentenced to 48 hours in prison after he pleaded no contest to striking a woman during an altercation back in February of 2007. Do you remember the group Trillville? Well one its members has been charged with rape. Don P of the Atlanta-based rap group was arrested last week in DeKalb County, Georgia, for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl. According to a DeKalb County Police spokesperson, the rapper, whose real name is Donnell Prince, was charged with rape and two counts of aggravated sodomy, all of which are felonies. According to police, the attack happened on December 16 in an apartment in Lithonia, Georgia. Don P was one of 10 guests attending a small gathering. Allegedly the victim was raped in a bedroom by two partygoers, Don P being one of them. The victim said this was not a consensual act. The girl reportedly left the party with a friend moments after and reported it the police. By the time officers arrived, most of the guests had left. Police said the investigation is ongoing. The attorney for Don P said the allegations were false and there were individuals in the room at the time the alleged rape occurred. He said Don P remains in police custody, but that a bond hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday morning.

New York Knicks Player’s Baby’s Mother Found Dead

New York Knicks Center Eddy Curry has really been having a hard time. Just weeks ago his male chauffeur filed a sexual harassment suit against him, claiming Eddy exposed himself and propositioned him for gay sex. This week Curry's ex-girlfriend Nova Henry and her 9-month old daughter Ava were found dead from gunshot wounds in their Chicago condo. To make matters worse, Eddy's 3 year old son with the female was also found in the condo, unharmed but covered in blood. 50 Cent’s Vitamin Water Sued for Deceiving Consumers

Coca Cola's Vitamin Water line, which is endorsed by 50 Cent, has reportedly been sued for deceiving consumers by claiming to be a healthy alternative to sodas. According to The Associated Press, The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) filed the lawsuit against Coca Cola this week claiming that the beverage company misleads consumers into thinking that the drink boosts health and reduces risk of illness but does the opposite. CSPI claims Coke labeled Vitamin Water with words such as "energy, "revive" and "endurance" to deceive its consumers. CSPI said in a statement that “The 33 grams of sugar in each bottle of Vitamin Water do more to promote obesity, diabetes and other health problems than the vitamins in the drinks do to perform the advertised benefits listed on the bottles.” Vitamin Water is Coke's attempt to dress up soda in a physician's white coat. Underneath, it's still sugar water, although sugar water that costs much more. A 20-ounce of Coke sells for about $1.40 while a 20-ounce of Vitamin Water sells for $1.50. The lawsuit was brought about San Francisco man who claims he used Vitamin Water during his occasional workouts. CSPI is serving as his co-counsel in the case against Coca Cola. He says he was attracted to the drink by the prospect of getting extra vitamins, but he had no idea that he was actually getting almost a Coke's worth of sugar and calories.

Donavan McNabb’s Home Vandalized By Fans

According to ESPN, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donavan McNabb recently had to play defense at his off-season home in Arizona. Two Arizona Cardinals fans hung their team's flag in a tree and burned sayings in McNabb's yard with diesel fuel. Saturday morning McNabb went outside, smelled diesel fuel, and realized someone had burned Cardinals cheers into his lawn, causing about $2,000 in damage. Police officers found an address label on a box that had been left, and it led to Arizona resident 37-year old Rex Perkins, who later admitted to the pranks. His co-worker, 28-year old Ryan Hanlon also admitted to the pranks. Perkins and Hanlon were fingerprinted, photographed, and cited for misdemeanor criminal damage. 'Notorious' Actor Arrested for Domestic Violence Against His Wife

According to Contactmusic, the rapper who plays NOTORIOUS B.I.G. in new movie Notorious was arrested in 2008 over a domestic dispute with his wife. Brooklyn-based actor Gravy, whose real name is Jamal Woolard, has found fame with his portrayal of the late rapper Notorious B.I.G., in the film. But court paperwork obtained by the New York Post apparently shows the new actor was charged with misdemeanor assault, menacing and harassment after a domestic incident last September. A source tells the publication that Woolard's spouse, Trina Younger, phoned emergency services after the pair had an altercation when Woolard returned home late. Anothe report alleages the actor didn't come home at all. But Younger's mother, who is currently living with the couple as Woolard promotes the film, is adamant there was no violence involved. She says her son is a good husband and that’s impossible. The couple has been married for seven months and together for five years.

Rick Ross is set to appear in a Miami court this week to answer charges that he failed to pay child support for his son 3-year old William Leonard Roberts, III. Despite Ross’ claims that he supports his son and pays his medical bills, the boy’s mother, Tiallondra Nicole Kemp says Ross, fell behind on his child support checks again. According to court documents, Ross has a history of domestic violence abuse against Kemp. This comes on the heels of Ross speaking out against his convictions from the Hip Hop World as a former corrections officer. Despite his vehement denials, Department of Corrections records show that Ross, did work as a correctional officer for 18 months in December 1995 earning a salary of $22,913.54.

T-Mobile Drops Charles Barkley

First, it was TNT that put Charles Barkley on the bench after his DUI arrest, now T-Mobile has blocked his calls. A spokeswoman for T-Mobile–,which features the NBA commentator in its Fave 5 commercials, says his contract has been discontinued due to his recent DUI arrest. They say that given the recent developments, they have replaced their TV ads with Charles Barkley with more general market advertising. They will evaluate the situation as Barkley works though his personal matters.

I first reported this on air Tuesday but forgot to post. Rumor had it that DJ Drama got jumped at the showing of the Notorious BIG movie afterwards. Sources say he was jumped in the parking lot and robbed of his new Barack Odrama chain. Just hope he's okay.

Mediatakeout.com is reporting that Nelly and his girl Ashanti may be expecting a child. According to their source, Nelly and Ashanti were in Atlanta filming a music video together with Plies and rumor has it that late that night the couple held a secret meeting where they announced Ashanti’s pregnancy. Only time will tell.

Word has is that Kelis is also pregnant with her and her husband Nas’s first child. Congrads to them.

Deshawn Snow, the wife of NBA player Eric Snow, granted an exclusive interview with Essence after being fired from Bravo’s hit show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to Deshawn, the firing came as a surprise to her as she had just talked with them about a new season in December. The producers' excuse for removing her from the program was that her story was too boring and she wasn’t as outspoken as they would have liked her to be. She said one of the producers called her and said that she was too human for a circus show and they were about to pump up the drama and didn’t think she would fit in. She says she’s fine with the decision and there are no hard feelings but she was hurt. Rumors are flying that Usher’s wife may be joining the lineup. We all know there’s a lot of drama there! I also heard that an Atlanta radio host’s wife may be up for grabs too. Face it, Deshawn was laid back and it seems to me she tried to do things to keep up with the ladies but it didn't work. On some of the episodes, you could see her trying but I wasn't buying it. The show has given her an ups on her career and things she may want to do. She is hosting alot of events and parties as well as her website has kicked off tremendously.

Well, according to sources, that has been resolved and a settlement has been reached. I am assuming she got paid. Ms. Mary Jane is set to move forward with her music career and has since sent out pics alike that have been posted on her Myspace as well. The thing that got my attention wasn't even the music but the tatoo of the Superman symbol on her arm. Now we all know Shaq was notorious for that! New York Knicks center Eddy Curry, has been hit with a sexual harrassment suit by his former driver David Kuchinsky, who says the player tried to solicit sex from him. The stunning court papers claim Curry, a married father of three, repeatedly approached his chauffer "in the nude," allegedly telling him, "Look at me, Dave, look" and "Come and touch it, Dave." The New York Post is reporting that Curry also made the driver perform humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels that Curry had ejaculated into so that his wife would not see them. Reportedly, the driver worked for Curry from October 2005 til October 2008. He says he was initially hired as an around-the-clock driver for Curry and his family. Sources say the lawsuit solidifies the truth of down low men with money. Curry's lawyer, Kelly Saindon, denied all of Kuchinsky's allegations, calling them absolutely untrue.

Charlie Baltimore Speaks Out Against Lil Kim

Well, we should have known it was coming. I am quite sure you heard about Lil Kim speaking out against the Notorious B.I.G. movie and the way her relationship with B.I.G was portrayed. Her story was that she WAS Biggie's girl and Faith knew about her. Well, Charli Baltimore is now speaking out about Lil Kim, claiming that she is delusional! Charli has another story. Baltimore opened up and gave Yo! Raps some very valuable information. She says that her and Faith have had words before and they definitely have had their little moments but they have never had any physical altercations. When B.I.G. passed, she says she called Faith and gave condolences to her children because she thought that it was the right thing to do. She says Faith knew about her and she knew that B.I.G. still had feelings for her, although they were going through a separation and a divorce. She says Lil Kim has made it seem like she had a relationship with B.I.G. and they didn’t. She says Kim was NOT Biggie’s girlfriend. She only benefited from the situation because she became Lil Kim and got a career out of it. Futhermore, Charlie cleared up the rumors about her relationship with Jay Z. She says when she dated Jay Z he was all about himself. She put in 150% and he put in 60%. Well, that's not good!

Bizzy Bone Beaten & Robbed in LA

Authorities claim that Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony has been identified as the victim of a brutal beating and robbery. The Los Angeles police department alleges that Bizzy Bone, real name Byron McCane, was returning from a restaurant to his Universal Hilton hotel room last Monday when he was approached by several individuals. The gang allegedly beat and choked Bizzy during the confrontation, and subsequently took all the rapper’s jewelry before fleeing the scene. Police have charged an anti-gang worker named Marlo "Bow Wow" Jones with the assault. According to AllHipHop.com, police report they are looking for additional female and male suspects that participated in the crime. Marlo Jones remains in custody with bail set at $1.1 million.

R Kelly Officially Divorced

We all seem to forget he was actaully married with all his drama going on! It was announced Thursday that R. Kelly and his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee Kelly, are officially divorced. 42-year old Kelly and 35-year old Andrea will have joint custody of their children. No other details of the agreement reached was released. The announcement comes just days after R Kelly celebrated his birthday. If you may remember, in 2005 his wife filed an emergency protective order to keep the singer away from her amid claims of physical abuse, which she annulled weeks later. The couple then filed for divorce in 2006, but sources say they were still trying to work it out.

Fantasia’s House Set to Be Auctioned Off

Fantasia Barrino faces losing her $1.3 million home in Charlotte in a debtor’s auction and according the The Post, she is apparently ignoring the legal threat. The “American Idol” winner reportedly owes a Florida credit company $65,000, money she borrowed in 2006 to pay back taxes she owed the IRS. The singer made a $10,000 payment in August of 2007 but never paid the rest, so the company won the right in court last month to auction off her house for the balance.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, T.I. appeared in court yesterday with a check for the $8,000 he owed the attorneys of one of his baby mama’s. As you may remember, a judge increased Lashon Dixson’s monthly payments from $2000 a month to a little more than $3,000 a month. The judge also ordered T.I. to pay Dixon’s attorney’s fees of $8,000 but he missed the deadline for payment. T.I.’s excuse for not paying Dixon’s attorneys was the judge’s order to pay got lost when he changed assistants. Now they say T.I.’s other baby mama — the mother of his daughter Deyjah — still gets $2000 a month from T.I. and apparently has no plans to take him to court for more. They say 6 of T.I.’s children actually live with him. Overall, it looks like T.I. is a good father.

The Detroit man who pimp slapped Katt Williams in a club for making jokes about him recently spoke out against his behavior! He said Katt Williams was in the club and started cracking jokes on him about his gator boots and cowboy hat and he wasn’t even paying attention, until his friends told him Katt is clowning you and pointing at you. He said he went over and asked Katt Williams what was that he said, and that he was talking about him, Katt responded, "and what?" Well, that’s when he slapped him! Has Jermaine Dupri Been Fired?

One Real Housewife of Atlanta Not So Real

This is really too much press for her. But for those of you who watched The Real Housewives of Atlanta, you may remember Sheree Whitfield, the one who stated she desired a “seven figure” settlement from her ex-husband and former Falcons football player Bob Whitfield. Well, she received a settlement last year but wasn’t happy with it. So she has appealed it to the Georgia Supreme Court. The case is scheduled to be heard Monday, January 12. Now her attorneys painted her a high school graduate with limited skills to earn income. This agreement meant she wouldn’t be able to stay at her $2.6 million home. She receives $113,422 a year from the divorce, not enough for her to live the lifestyle she’s used to and clearly not at the level of what the hit TV show conveys. Sheree also received a lump sum of $775,000, shares of Whitfield’s retirement pension, nearly half of the marital property and child support.

Well, a writer for the Atlanta Journal Constiution highlighted some facts provided by the Georgia Supreme Court public information officer regarding her case:

Bob and Sheree Whitfield separated after three years of marriage in 2003 and divorced in 2007. They have two children, who were 8 and 11 at the time of the divorce. The trial court awarded her custody of the children and just over $2100 a month in child support. It gave her half of the marital portion of three NFL retirement plans. But the court did not award alimony. The court awarded him nearly all the real estate, including four homes, and the recording studio, Patchwerks, which he founded and reportedly makes about 50,000 a year off of. Her lawyers moved for a new trial over the denial of alimony. The lower court denied the motion, and she now has appealed to the Supreme Court. They say her ex-husband not only received an $8 million signing bonus as part of a $30 million six-year contract, but he is also a sophisticated businessman with investment properties in Costa Rica, California and Atlanta, and to enhance his earning power, he has returned to Stanford University. She, on the other hand, has devoted her time to raising the children. The clothing boutique she managed for a brief time quickly failed under her management and oversight. With only a high school degree, she depended on her husband, with whom she had been in a relationship for 14 years. Blah blah blah....!

Just days after the tragic death of his 16-year-old son Jett, John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston issued their first public statement since Jett's death, saying they are "heartbroken" and thankful for all the support they've received. Travolta’s son was found unconscious in a bathroom this past weekend at the family’s vacation home in the Bahamas. Police Superintendent Basil Rahming has said a caretaker found Jett Travolta unconscious in a bathroom late Friday morning and he was later pronounced dead at a Freeport hospital. Preston and Travolta have said that Jett became very sick when he was 2 years old and was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome, an illness that leads to inflamed blood vessels in young children. Preston blamed household cleaners and fertilizers, and said that a detoxification program based on teachings from the Church of Scientology helped improve his health, according to People magazine. Now the Hawks beat the Cavs 97-92 this past Saturday but the night before, Lebron James was out kicking it at the Velvet Room hosting a party. I believe that's his baby's mama in the picture. Weak Opening for 'Cadillac Records'

The movie, Cadillac Records, starring Beyonce, Gabrielle Union, Mos Def and Jeffrey Wright had a weak opening this past weekend at the box offices. According to the 'Box Office Report,' "Cadillac Records" brought in just $3.5 million over the weekend. It had a $12 million dollar production budget and yet, only grossed $3.5 million.

Now watch what you say! In a interview, Gabrielle Union recently told critics that she enjoyed working with Beyonce and has known her since she was a teenager. Now Gabrille is 36, so you know they are saying how did she know Beyonce? If you remember awhile back, MediaTakeOut claim to have records from the Texas Department of Health saying Beyonce was actually 34, not 27 as she’s stated in the industry. It really doesn't matter. Sources say O.J. Simpson could have gotten 3 years but he and his lawyers refused to take the plea deal. According to reports, a friend of O.J.'s said that O.J. and his sister told him the prosecution offered him a deal but he and his lawyers turned it down believing he would be found innocent. I bet he regrets that decision!

Toni Braxton Undergoes Medical Procedure

The Associated Press says that Toni Braxton had a good reason for not dancing on the finale of “Dancing With the Stars.” The 41-year-old singer says she had a benign tumor removed from her breast the week before. She says her family has a history of breast cancer and she was worried of what they would fine but everything was fine. Thank goodness for that. May she continue to be in our prayers.

Shouts out to Deuce McAllister and the New Orleans Saints as well as the New Orleans Hornets. I actually got a chance to attend both games this weekend. The Hornets beat the breaks off the Memphis Grizzlies 106-87 and the Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons 29-25, and yes Deuce was able to play drawing cheers from the crowd as he entered the game in the second quarter.

As I did get a chance to enjoy my weekend, I sat and watched thousands of fans and families really enjoying themselves and the game. It made you appreciate life, family, and friends. With that being said, life is a gift. Enjoy yourselves and the holidays, as well as your friends and families. Let us not take for granted the little things in life for we may think they are little to us. As T.I. would say, LIVE YOUR LIFE!!!!

Giants Player Says He Didn't Know Plaxico Burress Had A Gun, O.J. Simpson Sentenced, BET Taking a Hit, & TI Opens Up

Antonio Pierce's attorney insists his client did not know his teammate Plaxico Burress was carrying a gun last weekend until it accidentally fired into the receiver's thigh. Pierce is set to cooperate with authorities and testify before a Manhattan grand jury about the incident if asked. Although Pierce did take Burress to the hospital, sources say he did not try to cover it up by registering Burress under a false name, as it has been reported. His attorney did not comment on the New York Post’s report that Pierce took Burress' gun back to his house and later gave it back to Burress' wife.

O.J. Simpson Sentenced

A Las Vegas judge sentenced ex-NFL star O.J. Simpson to at least 15 years in prison today, for leading an armed confrontation last year at a Las Vegas hotel room over sports memorabilia. Simpson could become elgible for parole in about 9 years.

BET & MTV Taking a Hit

They say Viacom is cutting about 850 jobs due to the economic downturn. That affects BET and MTV. The company said yesterday that it will slash 7% of its workforce and freeze some of its senior level salaries. Rumor has that some of our BET hosts will be affected and we will see more videos now.

TI Opens Up About Shawty Lo Incident

Sources say TI recently opened up about his take on whole incident between his camp and Shatwy Lo’s camp the night of the Dirty Awards in Atlanta. He says he did speak with Shawty Lo but evidently that conversation meant nothing because shortly after a lot of nonsense broke out. TI says he done with all that. He had to remove himself from the situation. Ex-Mayor’s Aide Headed to Jail

Former Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick’s secretary, Christine Beatty, will be joining him in jail. Well kind of. She will have her own set up. The ex-mayor’s aide Christine Beatty pleaded guilty in a text-messaging sex scandal with the former Mayor. She will spend four months in jail. She admitted to the judge that she lied under oath. Both acutally admitted lying when they claimed they were not romantically involved. They were both married at the time. The 38-year old pleaded guilty to two obstruction of justice charges. Under the deal with prosecutors, she will be sentenced next month to serve four months in jail and five years of probation. She will also pay $100,000 in restitution to the city. That must have been some F.I.R.E.!

Well it has been a year already. The late legendary rapper Pimp C died exactly one year ago today after he was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room. The Los Angeles County DA has charged a man with assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily harm in the incident. The actor needed 140 stitches and the surgery to repair the damage. 'ATL Housewife' Evicted From Home

Although The Real Housewives of Atlanta television series is over for now, one of the sisters is still staying the news. NeNe Leakes, the loud, energetic reality mom of the Bravo reality show is no longer living at the over-priced five bedroom residence shown on the series. According to the broker of the home, 41-year old NeNe and her husband, Gregory Leakes, left in November after the company filed an eviction notice in September. The notice, which was filed Sept. 24 said Greg Leakes owed just over $6,000 in past due rent. Sources say the tenant said they would move out by Sept. 14th because they could no longer afford the house. According to sources, the actual owner of the house lives overseas. The TV show called Gregory a real estate investor. Reportedly, the only business the Atlanta Journal Constitution could find under his name in Georgia is called Advantage Move. Access Atlanta is reporting that the number listed for that business has been disconnected. A point further confirming a lot of what we saw was all for TV.

Actor Gary Coleman settled out of court for $300 in regards to that bowling alley run down a few months ago. He pleaded No Contest to the wreckless driving and disorderly conduct charges. A few months ago he ran down a former fan with his car after he kept taking pictures of him with his camera phone inside the bowling alley.

More Trouble for NFL Player Plaxcio Buress

Just days after Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the right thigh in a New York nightclub, the Giants have fined and suspended the star receiver for four games - the rest of the regular season. The team also placed him on the reserve non-football injury list, which means he won't be back for the playoffs, either. His gunshot wound would sideline him for 4 to 6 weeks anyway. His teammate, Antonio Pierece still faces suspension by the team. Pierece was with Buress the night he shot himself. Michael Vick has pleaded guilty to more dog fighting charges. The 28-year old former Atlanta Falcons quarterback is currently serving a 23-month sentence following his 2007 conviction. He has remained under indictment for two further dog fighting and animal cruelty charges. In a court hearing Tuesday, Vick entered a guilty plea in exchange for a three-year suspended sentence. He is scheduled for release July 20 and will serve three years probation. The plea deal could potentially speed up his return to the NFL, as Federal law prohibits prisoners from being released to a halfway house if there are unresolved charges pending. Vick addressed the court and said he wanted to apologize to his family, friends, and kids who looked up to him.

Whitney Houston Sued by Step-Mom

Whitney Houston is reportedly being sued by her step-mother for the remaining proceeds of her late father's $1 million life insurance policy. According to reports, Whitney was the beneficiary of the money following her father's death in 2003. According to TMZ, in a lawsuit filed in May, Barbara alleges her stepdaughter was instructed to use her father’s $1 million life insurance to pay off the mortgage on his apartment and hand over the title to the property and any remaining funds. Barbara's lawsuit claims she was supposed to get the remaining proceeds as well as the title to the property, and that Whitney has yet to give her either one.

The type of medication was not disclosed although it was on record that it was a part of her ongoing treatment. Yesterday Winehouse's husband lost his appeal against his 27-month jail term for assault and preveting the course of justice. Earlier this month, he was moved from prison to a drug rehabilitation unit. The Grammy-winning Amy Winehouse has suffered from a string of health problems in recent years, many related to her battles with drug addiction. Its ironic one of her biggest hits is the song "Rehab," describing her reluctance to enter a clinic. Winehouse won five Grammy awards earlier this year -- three for "Rehab," as well as Album of the Year and Best New Artist.

Wyclef Jean Loses His Home

Well looks the recession of today is affecting everyone. Reportedly, Wyclef Jean failed to pay the mortgage on his unfinished Miami Beach mansion, resulting in him losing the home. Reportedly, Wyclef took out a $2 million mortgage in 2004 to purchase the estate through a corporation he owns with a group of friends. Although he set out to renovate the property, which was appraised at $1.4 million, was left unfinished for more than two years. In all, Jean’s corporation now owes the bank $2.4million. As a result of the foreclosure, Miami-Dade county will sell the mansion in downtown Miami on December 12. Court records also show that Jean has not paid employees who worked on the home. Bryant Gumbel's Son Arrested & Released

The 29-year-old son of TV personality Bryant Gumbel has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after troopers pulled him over for driving erratically. Bradley Gumbel was charged with the drunken driving misdemeanor in a Nov. 16 traffic stop. Gumbel was asleep at the wheel and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath when a trooper approached him. He did not know how his vehicle was damaged. Damn.

Sources say Grand Hustle artists Big Kuntry King and Alfa Mega were among those arrested after police shut down the 2008 Dirty Awards in Atlanta last night at the Georgia International Congress Center. A videographer actually captured some video between members of T.I.’s camp and Shawty Lo’s camp following Shawty Lo’s performance. If you watched the video, its obvious the camp took straight shots at Alfamega and T.I., and even said something about T.I.'s baby’s mother, Tameka. Sources say during both performances, chairs flew on stage and fights broke out all near the stage. After the first altercation, T.I. later dennounced all the violence that took place. The 2008 Dirty Awards is presented by Radio One’s HOT 107.9. Despite the violence, a lot of celebrities showed up for the event including T.I., Ludacris, Rick Ross, Trina, Monica and her boyfriend Rocko, Li’l Scrappy & his boo Diamond, along with a host of other artists and entertainers.

While most of us were partying over the weekend, family, friends, and fans of rapper MC Breed were mourning his loss. Breed died Saturday. His manager Darrly Morris confirmed the rapper was found dead at a friend’s home in Michigan. if you may remember, he had been hospitalized in September after collapsing from kidney complaints during a basketball game. Although hopeful his condition would improve, the rapper finally gave in to kidney failure. He was 36 years old. Breed made an immediate impact with his 1991 debut MC Breed & DFC, which was powered by the classic, Billboard charting single “Ain’t No Future in Yo’ Frontin’.” I happen to have really liked that song. My heart goes out to him and his family.

Rapper TI testified in court Friday in Cincinnati in the case of the shooting death of his friend Philant Johnson. TI took the stand for approximately 40 minutes as he recounted on what happened that night back in 2006. TI said on the stand that he apologized to Philant’s mother because he felt like all the rounds that were shot were meant for him. He said on the stand that he was the one who had to tell Philant’s mother, daughter, and uncle, he was killed and gone to a better place.

Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton, is reportedly in the middle of a police investigation for allegedly scamming a limo driver during the recent BET Hip Hop Awards. A freelance limo driver says that Patton used his services for her Atlanta-based transportation company, but claims she never paid him his almost 2,000 paycheck for his services, He has since filed a complaint. TMZ says the Dekalb County detectives are currently looking into the case.

T.I. to Testify in Cincinnati Trial Over 2006 Murder

One of two men implicated in the murder of T.I.’s friend Philant Johnson went on trial this week in Cincinnati facing multiple charges including murder and criminal assault. Authorities spent almost two years investigating the May 2006 chase and shoot out that left Johnson dead and three other individuals wounded. It wasn’t until this past summer that police caught a break, which lead to the arrest of 40-year-old Padron Thomas and 36-year-old Hosea Thomas. Padron Thomas alleges, he and his friends confronted T.I. and his crew over gaining entry to the VIP area at the club in Cincinnati. Following the confrontation, the Atlanta-based rapper and his entourage left the scene in two vans. They were chased and shot at later. Padron Thomas admitted to driving the vehicle and told authorities that his brother Hosea actuall fired shots at the vans. Padron Thomas’ plea deal has guaranteed that he will serve no time behind bars for his part in the crime. T.I. is expected to testify in the trial.

Comedian Katt Williams was reportedly hospitalized last weeekend where he was to undergo a pyschiatric evaluation. Restraining Order Dropped Against Lyfe Jennings

Sources say that after accusing singer Lyfe Jennings of threatening her life, turning off her electricity and changing the locks on the door, his baby’s mama, Joy Bounds has withdrawn her restraining order against him. As reported earlier, Lyfe Jennings was arrested and slapped with multiple charges after firing a gun outside the home where Bounds was inside with another man. Bounds reportedly told friends Lyfe hollered, “If I can’t have you, no one will.” The young lady later filed for a temporary restraining order to protect her from her longtime boyfriend and client. R Kelly's Nephews Arrested

Reportedly, R. Kelly’s two nephews Brayel and Brandon Kelly were taken into custody as suspects in a Chicago barbershop armed robbery attempt. 15 year-old Brayel was shot twice in the abdomen and chest in the process and was last reported in intensive care. MTV News reports that one of the two boys went into the barbershop and requested a haircut. After receiving his haircut, he allegedly tried to rob the barbershop owner by producing a weapon and demanding that the owner place his money and jewelry in a plastic bag. The man followed his instructions but also produced his own weapon. Police say the suspect fired, and the victim returned fire. The owner later told police that he believed he hit the robber. Before responding to the armed-robbery call, police responded to a call two blocks away, where they found a juvenile who had been shot in the back. Brayel’s older brother, Brandon, was arrested and police are investigating whether he acted as a lookout. Brayel and Brandon are R. Kelly’s brother’s teenaged sons. Carey told reporters that he believes his sons were the victims of the attempted robbery, not the perpetrators. Sources say R Kelly hasn’t been close to his nephews ever since a falling out with the family.

More Layoffs in Radio

Speaking of Wendy Williams, sources confirm that personnel within her Wendy Williams Experience radio show have been fired. Her sidekick Charlemagne Da God and Trev Hollywood were specifically named as getting the boot as well as a few other behind-the-scenes people. They were told they would not be replaced. Sources also site that Nicole Spence, the victim of the sexual harassment charges filed against Wendy and her husband Kevin, settled for an undisclosed amount of money and hasn’t worked at the show’s home station since. Rumor has it that the entire Wendy WIlliams Experience and Wendy herself may be let go in 2009.

Las Vegas Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Mos Def

Brooklyn rapper and actor Mos Def started his day out with the anticipation that he would be picked up at any moment after the Las Vegas Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest yesterday. Mos, born Dante Smith, was allegedly involved in an altercation with a professional photographer at an event in August. While attending the event, the photographer claims Mos assaulted him, allegedly ripping away his camera, and throwing the equipment to the ground before walking away with it. He suffered a cut on his left hand. Mos now faces charges of felony robbery and malicious destruction of property.

Terrance Howard Speaking Out on His Relationship

Actor Terrence Howard and his wife Lori McCommas split years ago after a 14-year marriage. He then bought her her dream house in an effort to get her back. Howard told Hip Hop Weekly that it was the house she fell in love with when she was a little girl, and he bought the house because he was dating her again, but it didn’t work out. The actor recently revealed how he wrote a song about stalking her before eventually moving on and finding love with his current, unnamed girlfriend of two-and-half-years. It seems to me he talks about his wife quite often. Even though he has moved on, it sounds like he is still very much in love with her. This is probably the third interview I have seen where he constantly speaks on her.

Barack Obama's grandmother, whose personality and bearing shaped much of the life of the Democratic presidential candidate, died yesterday, just one day before the historical election. Obama announced the news from the campaign trail in Charlotte, N.C. He released a joint statement with his sister saying she died peacefully late Sunday night after a battle with cancer. Obama learned of her death Monday morning while he was campaigning in Jacksonville, Florida. The family said a private ceremony would be held later. If you remember, last month Obama took a break from campaigning and flew to Hawaii to be with his grandmother as as her health was declining. She was trying to hold on to see the election. Obama said the decision to go to Hawaii was easy to make, telling CBS that he "got there too late" when his mother died of ovarian cancer in 1995 at 53, and wanted to make sure "that he didn’t make the same mistake twice."

Jennifer Hudson Kisses Her Mother Goodbye at Funeral

During a heartfelt homegoing celebration for her slain family, Jennifer Hudson kissed her mother goodbye in Chicago on Monday. The Chicago Tribune says the Oscar-winning actress spent a few moments at the caskets of her brother and nephew, and gently touched the body of her mother before leaning down to kiss her. Toward the end of the service, "American Idol's" season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino sang a rendition of the gospel classic "Your Grace and Mercy." During the song, she walked into the aisle where she took Hudson's hand and sang directly to her. According to People Magazine, the Reverend Jesse Jackson and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley both spoke at the service. After the funeral, a horse-drawn carriage led the procession to the cemetery. My heart and prayers still go out to her and her family. Please pray for them.

Like we didn't know this but I guess everyone needed some confirmation. Nelly, who has always been rather quiet about his relationship with singer Ashanti over the years seems to finally come clean about what makes them click. While celebrating his 34th birthday, the St. Louis rapper tells People magazine, that the key to their hush-hush relationship is that they both love to have a good time. Although Ashanti was in Japan and could not attend the party, Nelly admitted that the two have been "hanging out for a minute." When asked how serious they are, Nelly says, "I think it's always serious," he said, "when you can hang with a person continuously ... and "still" have fun." Earlier this summer, Ashanti would only call Nelly a "good friend," like she does in most interviews. But, sources say she shyly told People Magazine that an engagement could definitely be in the future.

Def Jam Executive Vice President Dead From Apparent Suicide & Rumor Control Over the Weekend

Def Jam Executive Vice President Shakir Stewart was found dead in his Marietta, GA home on Saturday. The 34-year-old Oakland, California native, who split his time between Atlanta and New York, was discovered around 4:00 pm. Sources say Stewart shot himself in the head. His longtime girlfriend and infant son were in the home at the time. Stewart was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. In his four year tenure at Def Jam, Stewart rose through the ranks from Vice President to Senior Vice President of A&R, before taking over the position left vacant by Jay-Z earlier this year. During his tenure at Def Jam, Stewart was instrumental in signing Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and others. The family has stated that his behavior over the past few weeks was very much out of the normal for him and he seemed to be in extremely deep pain despite help from family and friends. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

There were all kind of rumors circulating this weekend. Katt Williams was not killed in a plane crash. Apparently people received text messages that Williams was involved in a fatal plane crash. That was not true. Another rumor this weekend was that Lil Wayne was gunned down after performing in New Orleans. They even had a website for this one. The reports claim Lil Wayne was involved in an altercation with members of a rival gang, and fatally shot six times. That was absolutely not true. What is up with the terrible rumors????
