Last night’s performance by newcomer to the game, Jeremih, was supposed to be a great industry affair at Luckie Food Lounge in Atlanta, at least that's what it started as, before it went wrong. Sources say the night ended with 3 men being transported to a local hospital with stab wounds. According to witnesses, a fight broke out between DJ Drama and Young Jeezy’s CTE crew around 2:30 am, after Jeremih left the stage. They say as many as 20 men were involved. The altercation spilled out into the parking lot across the street where gunshots were heard. Most seriously injured man was Jeezy’s artist Bama, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the face. Most of Young Jeezy’s bodyguards and entourage were arrested at the scene. 1LIFE1Love’s Boo was also arrested but has since been released. Think he was charged with disorderly conduct. Wow! Anyway, he has a birthday party coming up in Jackson you may want to check out. They will actually premiere the video remix to I Get Alot of That featuring Boo with Young Jeezy.
Kelis Needs Support from Nas to Make It
They are trying to make it seem like homegirl is broke. More of Kelis' financials documents have been made public from her petition for divorce from Nas. According to the documents, she made just over $21,000 a month between November of '08 and April '09 and hasn't toured in over a year, which is how she earns her income. Well of course to us, we definitely could live on that but that's nothing for her compared to what she spends and how she spends it. Kelis says she needs more than $80,000 a month from her estranged husband because she spends more than $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts, travel, plus $14,000 a month on mortgage. Well dang. She is also asking for funds to furnish a nanny as well as money to store stem cells from the baby's umbilical cord to treat any unforeseen illnesses. Now sources say that can be used to treat 70 life-threatening diseases alone and I am sure it has a nice price tag attached to it. I knew this divorce was going to get ugly.
Jamie Foxx Says He is Not to Blame
Jamie Foxx says just because he is the host of a party, doesn’t mean he is responsible if things go wrong. At least that’s what he is saying in a new lawsuit. Foxx, along with everyone involved in an event at Club Social back in 2007, was sued in April after a bartender claims he suffered 170 stitches and nerve damage after falling on broken glass. Jamie has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, saying he shouldn’t have to pay to defend himself because it wasn’t his responsibility to ensure everyone’s safety at the party. Foxx is suing Social, along with a number of other companies, to pay for his legal fees.
NFL Player Sentenced
Cleveland Browns' Donte' Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter on Tuesday. If you may recall, Donte' was drunk, his alcohol level twice the legal limit when he hit and killed a man trying to cross the busy intersection that runs between Miami and Miami beach this past March. Donte was sentenced to a month in jail, two years house arrest and eight years probation.
